It is in progress the restyling of the "Queen of the Seas", pride of Italian Navy.
The following works have been planned: the renewal of main engines, electric generators, propulsion system and a renewal of the interior side: the public areas will be completely transformed with a focus on the improvement of board life and the environmental aspects in order to achieve the first eco-friendly school ship. Some compactors waste, composting systems and antifouling treatment system, with zero impact on the environment will be installed. In the spring of 2015 will be provided for the completion of the work. The ship is considered the most beautiful in the World and with this renewal it will be more efficient, more environmentally friendly and more beautiful than before (Cit. Italian Navy). For SEA is a great satisfaction the participation in this "project". The supply consists of 2 couples of cast resin transformers (24 pulse rectifier application) for the modernization of the primary distribution and integrated electric propulsion.
