On 09.01.2014 OTN 50 MVA 230 kV step-up transformer has been energized in Cardano hydropower plant built on 1926.
The transformer is connected with 1 of 5 generators of the energy production plant and increases the voltage from 10 kV to 220 kV suitable for the transportation by the TERNA's energy transmission line.
This new year starts with one of the most important projects performed by SEA Team: another step towards renewal of italian hydropower plants.
